Windows 10: Elite Controller 2 Bluetooth issues on Windows 10

Currently very disappointed about this. My controller will not stay connected while gaming for more than 5 minutes. The framerate drops right when it happens which i assume is just because it lost its input. I've surfed through about 4 different forums about this issue and all are unresolved. I received an xbox elite controller version 2 for an early xmas present, however it has not worked for my pc which is the only way I was planning on using it. I'm an I.T manager so I assumed it was something i could troubleshoot and fix. Alas, I've done everything i can find:


1. I've updated the firmware

2. Updated windows completely including optional updates.

3. Disconnected all wireless devices

4. Tried it on other pcs. same issue across the board.


The last thing I know to do is RMA it and if that doesn't work BUY an additional adapter. Attempted to contact microsoft support directly, but am told that they don't currently have a helpdesk for controllers. This level of support is really astounding considering this one controller costs almost 200 dollars.

Xbox Elite 2 Controller not detected in Bluetooth on Windows 10 PC

I just got my new Elite Series 2 controller and I can't connect with bluetooth to my PC. I followed all the steps and the device is not detected. It does not appear on any of the screens for me to connect to.

I have windows 10 and several other bluetooth devices that are currently active.

I recently purchased an Xbox elite series 2 controller to use on my windows 10 pc via Bluetooth, when I first connected it, it worked for about 2 minutes then caused my game to stutter then the controller disconnected, I have had the controller connected
again (with great difficulty) since the initial issue but it is no where near stable. I have tried multiple fixes such as uninstalling programs that might interfere with the controller itself, I have tried repairing, deleting the device and reconnecting, deleting
and reinstalling drivers, updating Nvidia graphics drivers, nothing seems to fix it. Does anybody know of a fix for this issue?
