Windows 10: Eluktronics driver assistance

So although I have a bit of experience with tech, I am still a bit ignorant on the finer details, some things I usually just never have to do, among those would be manually installing drivers.

I currently own an Eluktronics mech 15 g2rx, ran into an issue that required a clean install of windows 10 home, as a result I lost all manufacturer software and drivers. I went to the website and downloaded what looks like the correct drivers, however I am lost on how to install them properly, I know how to access device manager, but I don't know what exact things need updated.



Anyone with experience with eluktronics care to assist?

Windows update keeps replacing ALPS Touchpad driver with a Synaptics driver.

I suggest you to uninstall and delete the previous drivers and the latest drivers for the touchpad and install the required version of the driver from Device Manager by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
• Expand the Touch pad driver.
• Right click on the driver and click on update/install.
• Select the required version from the on-screen prompts.

And for the problem with the installation of printer drivers, I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Update” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Synaptics driver update Windows 10

Hello Kat,

I suggest you to go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver. And follow the steps below:

• 
  You may uninstall the driver.
  
• 
  Double click on the set up file without restarting the system
  
• 
  Once the driver installs successfully then restart the system.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
