Windows 10: Email account

    Right now I am using Windows Live Mail 2012. Will this perform well on Windows 10? Seems I read something to the effect that both WLM and Thunderbird have some significant problems on Windows 10.

    Windows 10 freezes when trying to backup a system image or when doing a chkdsk.

    I have a c drive which is an ssd and a d drive which is a hdd.

    The ssd back up works fine. A backup or chkdsk of the hdd freezes. What can I do to fix the problem?

    On My Nokia Lumia, I send email, it says sign in to add the letters and numbers to prevent junk mail, but/ letters, but there there when i sign in on my PC, why ??? help please

    What type of email account is this? Is this using the email client built into the phone? Is this affected email account listed in Settings>email & accounts?

    Yes. I am using WLM 2012 on my 2 laptops running Windows 10.
    No issues at all.
    I have been using WLM since Windows 7 days.

    Two PCs using WLM 2012 without any problem. Four other PCs using mix of Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2016 without any problem.
