Windows 10: Email Attachments on Windows 10 email program

Hi there


I have recently started using the mail program within windows 10 for my emails. Previously I was using outlook 2010. I can not receive any attachments through this program, I have had to resort to going into my emails on my internet providers webmail program where i can see all attachments. All I get is a red exclamation mark where the paperclick attachment symbol should be. I have tried time and again going through all the settings to see if there is something I can do, but no luck.


I am running a business and need to be able to access my attachments when they are sent, and it is a pain having to go to the server all the time. Can anyone help with this issue? Also I don't understand alot of the tech speak for computers so please be kind and dumb it down if you are able? Thankyou in advance :

Hello Allan,

To attach a document file on an email, you can follow the step given below:

For Windows 10 Mobile:

• Launch to File Explorer app.
• Press and hold the file that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select Outlook Mail on the suggested applications.

For Windows Phone 8.1:

• Download and install
  Files app.
• Launch Files app.
• Tap and hold the document that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select the Mail app on the suggested applications.

Windows 7 Will Not Include Email, Photo and Movie Programs

I think people missed that MS did not say "Internet" in the program list. Just Email, Photo, Movie.

 

Windows Messenger Confirmation Email

No It didnt appear in my spam box but I updated to Windows live Messenger which sent the confirmation email and also verified windows messenger. Ty everyone for there suggestions
