Windows 10: Email change/secure sign in

I need to sign into microsoft now, and i can't wait 30 days. i have my backup email, but apparently backup emails are useless because i can't use it to sign in at all. my main problem started when i changed my cpu on my pc, and it said i needed to change my PIN, but for some reason i need to be "secure" and it won't let me use my alternate email to verify i exist and the account is mine i dont have a linked phone number but i could if i could add it.... Can i have help please?

Hi,

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

Microsoft Email Changes I Don't Know

Sign in to Manage how you sign in to Microsoft with your Microsoft account. If you’re having issues signing in to your Microsoft account, go to Microsoft account help.

Then enter the AOL details
they will send a verification email to your nominated security check - email address or whatever you set up as a security check
When you have passed that proceed and choose as shown on the microsoft link
If you want to use an existing email address or phone number, go to step 6.
Under Sign-in preferences, select Change sign-in preferences.
