Windows 10: Email client wont hold password

Hi all
My first post so be gentle *chuckle I have upgraded to windows 10 and I am finding it very good but have a problem setting up my emails (I have installed windows live mail for now which is working fine) When I try to set my email up with the client that comes with windows 10 and put my password in it comes up with a error (0x8007271d) if I then look at my account settings my password has changed *Confused even though I saved it (I am using virgin media BB) any help would be great its doing my head in.

Kindly format the mobile(keeping backup) and setup email thereafter on mobile.



just click over setup email>select email provider>input email id >password.



Nokia X6 is having NMS client inbuilt so no need to go to email.nokia.com. mailbox can be setup directly from the mobile.If you are in india then it wont get setup with MTNL,DOLPHIN sim cards.

windows live mail 2012 password problem

I am going around and around in circles . I have reset my password on my BT email and Googlemail email and still it wont accept the new one in Windows Live Mail I still get the password required box and still it wont accept it. HELP

Is says Please enter your user name and password for the following server.. ON BOTH email servers ... help please

If you have a look at this (will be step 9 for virgin media)

you will need to know the settings for the account (should be able to get these from WLM)

can you confirm if that is the same as how you set it up?

I don't use virgin media, but if you need help with the servers names I might be able to find them

Thanks for your quick reply I will take a look at the link and let you know how I get on (I'm off out for the day so will be later this evening) I just seem to be going round in circles with this one I have set loads of emails up before but cant understand why the password keeps changing (it works well with windows live mail)

If it still doesn't work, any chance you could do some screenshots showing the issue (blanking out any personal info)

it might jog someones memory if its been seen before

Just thought I would let you know I have sorted it in case someone else has the same problem it was my AVG firewall that was blocking it as soon as I disable the
firewall part of my antivirus my emails came through. I havent had ay problems with any other email client just the windows 10 one. just need to decide what settings to use to make it work with firewall on
