Windows 10: Email messages not sorting properly

Why is my Outlook of Office 365 failing to sort messages reliably by date as I have tried to set? I am totally blind, so I need ABSOLUTELY MOUSELESS, KEYBOARD ONLY instructions on how to fix the problem. I typically get two or three messages sorted with the current date at the top, then the "string" of messages suddenly jumps back to something in early April - about five months earlier. I have been using Outlook for several years, and this is my first experience with the unreliable behavior in the Sort function! I want to fix the Inbox so that, starting with the newest messages, they will

The Outgoing SMTP mail server port number depends on the your email service provider. We recommend that you contact your service provider and request for the incoming and outgoing mail server settings.

Remove the account that you're having issues sending messages, and add the account to your phone using the steps below.

Presuming that you have removed the email account you're having issues sending messages:

• Launch the Outlook Mail app.
• Tap Add account.
• Tap Advanced setup.
• Tap Internet email.
• Enter your email account credentials.
• Tap the Sign in button.
