Windows 10: Email not able to send or receive

I have Win 7 & 10 on two different pc's. I use Win Live Mail for my e-mail client on both devices plus on my tablet. Out of the blue yesterday I was unable to send mail, then today I can neither send or receive through LM. I am an ATT customer and have been using Yahoo mail as a backup. All of my work info, files, etc are on LM so it's essential that I get this working. 3 calls to ATT tech support plus a visit to their store did not yield an answer. Please help me.

You might not been able to send or receive an email due to a misconfigured account settings. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to ask the following questions below:

• Which application or program are you using to access your email?
• Have you encountered any error message?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

If you are using the Windows 10 Mail app, we suggest that you remove your email account and re-add it.

Email domain suddenly stopped receiving/sending email

To better understand the issue you're experiencing, kindly answer the following questions:

• What is the email domain?
• What is the error message you get when you send an email to a recipient?
• Have you tried sending a sample email to yourself using the email in question? If you haven't, you may give that a try and check if you'll be able to receive it.
