    Email scammer using hotmail


    My email was scammed and I have discovered that my emails were being forwarded to two email addresses belonging to the scammer. One was reported to yahoo, who said they took these things seriously but their privacy policy meant they could not advise me of the action they had taken. The other was a hotmail address. Is there an easy way to report the hotmail address to Microsoft without having to enter credit card details.

    The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).

    I already have a Gmail account, but Ive had my hotmail account for years and theres a lot of other accounts that are registered to that email. I guess I will try hotmail/MSN support and see what they say as no one has come up with any solutions in this thread

    Nokia Lumia 610 Hotmail Synchronizing

    Try these steps:



    Resync your Hotmail/Live account.



    • Go to Settings.
    • Tap Email+Accounts.
    • Tap and hold your Live/Hotmail account.
    • Select Sync.
    If it doesn't work, reset your password on this link http://account.live.com then perform these steps:



    • Go to Settings.
    • Tap Email+Accounts.
    • Tap your Live/Hotmail account.
    • Then mark off the option of mail synchronization.
    • Reboot your phone and then activate the email sync again.
    If the above steps will not work, clear your history by doing these steps:



    • Open Internet Explorer (on phone)
    • Tap (...) then go to Settings.
    • Select Clear History.
    Also, check that your server is "m.hotmail.com"
