Windows 10: Email & Syncing

Email - I thought I'd set up for GMail to link to Outlook, and followed the prompts etc - now each day I get an email stating


It looks like we don't have permission to get email for XXXXXXXXXXX@gmail.com.

nothing I do changes anything - anyone else having this issue?


Syncing


Windows 10, I go to settings, then sync my setting and the message comes up 'Sync is not available for your account.....' I've done a bit of research and others have found deleting the work/school accounts solves the problem. I have done that and it does - but the next day I again can't sync and the work/school email accounts I deleted have returned....thoughts?

  Are you referring to the syncing of emails in Windows live mail or
  Mail App or mail client version of Outlook?
  

If you are referring to the Windows Mail App, I suggest you to follow the steps under the section

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Open Mail app.
  
• 
  Click on Settings at the left bottom corner.
  
• 
  Select manage Accounts at the top right corner.
  
• 
  Select and click on Account.
  
• 
  Select Change Mailbox Sync settings
  
• 
  Under Sync Option.
  
• 
  Turn On Email and close the app and check if it helps.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the Mailbox sync settings.

  Open the Mail app and sign in to your account.
  
• 
  Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner.
  
• 
  Click on the Accounts under
  Settings.
  
• 
  Click on your account.
  
• 
  Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the
  Sync options.
