Windows 10: email

The email app on Windows 10 stopped working last night. Previously, it was syncing my gmail and aol accounts just fine. This morning I noticed that I did not have any new email. Logging into gmail, I see that I do. So, I pressed the sync button. It was busy for 5 mins, but did not do anything.


I restarted the computer and tried the steps again, but to no avail.


So..., It looks like a app problem. I went to settings and pressed the reset app button. I then started the app. All my accounts were gone (which is good, I reset the app). I clicked the add account and entered my email address and password. It now is stuck in the "Add an account" -> Creating account.


Curious why it stopped working. Did windows do an update to the app without my knowledge. (As you well know Your update policy of not allowing us to control our updates is a very sore point for users)

My system is Windows 10, my browser is Google Chrome and my email is Windows live. When I open a hyperlink I get a blank/black page listed as "Untitled". Any suggestions?

To attach a document file on an email, you can follow the step given below:

For Windows 10 Mobile:

• Launch to File Explorer app.
• Press and hold the file that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select Outlook Mail on the suggested applications.

For Windows Phone 8.1:

• Download and install
  Files app.
• Launch Files app.
• Tap and hold the document that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select the Mail app on the suggested applications.
