Windows 10: Emergency Management Services EMS: access boot menu

I would like to access the boot menu using Emergency Management Services EMS.The computer is configured with bootmenupolicy Legacy, in order to display a menu at startup.I have the following boot items:Windows 11 {default}Windows 10Windows 2008 R2I tried to enable EMS for Windows 10 and 11:bcdedit /ems ONbcdedit /emssettings {current} EMSPORT:1 EMSBAUDRATE:115200bcdedit /emssettings {windows 10 GUID here} EMSPORT:1 EMSBAUDRATE:115200Next I attached a console on my laptop to COM1 on the computer, using baud rate 115200.At the next boot I saw a few messages like this presumably from BIOS just a

Boot Emergency!

No it doesnt show. Only my OS drive.

Its there and it says it running and normal.

Anyway I just had the same boot problem on reboot. Everything was fine 10 minutes ago. Now it wont boot without my manually selecting the drive.

Open the start menu and in the search type "computer management" and click on that once found, now in the new window, the list on the left says "storage/Disk Management" Click on disk management and you'll see a list of your drives, the drive you can not see may need to be activated, you can do this by simply right clicking the correct disk and activating.

 

Windows stuck in automatic repair; Can't access BIOS/ boot menu

I've changed the boot order through both BIOS and the boot manager, as my original post stated. Neither did anything, but both were functional in the past. Neither listed the windows boot manager, either. Previously, it would boot just as expected whenever
other media was set as the first option, so I'm pretty sure there are no issues there.

As my original post suggested, I've already tried out the steps you gave. I've gone through all the options listed in the boot menu, UEFI or not.

My BIOS and boot menu settings were at their defaults when all of this started, so that's been tried already, if those are what you're referring to.
