    Hi, I am Aryesh.

    Today, when I went to Default browsers, with the new edge, the old edge was also visible. But, I am in the version 2004 so when I set old edge as default, and open a pdf, the new edge opens it. So, how to remove it from the list?

    Hi Stephanie,

    Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

    • Open Settings.
    • Tap on System.
    • Tap on Messaging.
    • Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
    • Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

    Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

    We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

    Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

    How make Emergency Contact the 1st Contact in Contact List?

    I "DO" appreciate you taking the time to express your opinion. But SOS listed in the Ss just won't work here.

    In this locality, the preference is to make your Emergency Contact the 1st Contact in the list (NO matter what you call it). So, I could use SOS "ONLY IF" I could make it always be the 1st Contact in the list.

    Come to think of it, the Emergency industry (ambulance, hospitals, etc.) recommend not only that your emergency contact be listed 1st in the contact list but also that it contain the word Emergency.

    Making it first makes it simpler on the Emergency people who don't have to take precious time looking for it.

    If "EVERYBODY" called their Emergency Contact SOS, I would not have a problem with it not being the 1st contact in the list. But, unfortunately, there seems to be an unlimited # of things that people call their emergency contact (per the Emergency industry).

    Addendum to inital post:

    It is curious to note that when I view my contact list in Nokia PC Suite using a USB cable to connect my Nokia 6555 to my computer, that emergency contact IS the first contact listed.

    However, whenever I access my contact list ON the Nokia 6555, that emergency contact is NOT the first contact listed.
