Windows 10: Emoji Picker Search Not Working

I can bring up the emoji picker with <Win+period> but when I try to search for an emoji by typing in the box, the box does not show the characters I type. Instead, it shows the keys in the order they are on the keyboard like this:What I type: smileWhat shows: qwertSometimes, it will be offset by a certain number of characters. I.e. sometimes it will start with "`1234", other times "ghjkl", etc. It seems to run on a cycle so the pattern repeats and it seems the pattern can start at any position depending on external factors.If I start typing in the emoji search box and lets say the box sh

You may find the fix quicker by searching google or another search engine than waiting for a reply. Everyone knows that California tends to think that they are their own country. Unless you are using a non-US/English version of Windows or change Regional settings, Emoji Picker should be working.

 

Emoji Picker ( Win+. or Win+; ) No Longer Works

After the latest big update from Windows, I noticed that my Emoji Picker Window (the window that you can pull up when pressing the Windows key + the period or semicolon key) no longer comes up.

I tried searching online to why this doesn't work, and how to fix it, etc, yet all I found is that this feature is limited to the US English language, in which I already have set up correctly, since I live in California.

I even tried enabling the "Show keyboard buttons" option in the Taskbar (refer to the picture below). When I press an emoji (using this method) it still doesn't show up. The only way I can use emojis is if I go to, for example: Get Emoji — All Emojis to ✂️ Copy and Paste
and copy/paste the emojis from there.

 

Where are the flag emojis in the emoji picker??

Just tried the emoji picker (Win+.) on update 2004 and I don't see any country flags? I can't even see the regional indicators either...
