    Emoticon Keyboard opens, but doens't work


    Hi all,


    I'm used to working with the emoticon keyboard windows + .. Unfortunately it stopped working recently. I still can open the keyboard, but when I click on an emoji, it doesn't get added to my text.

    Suggest emoticons not working

    Hi,

    Thank you very much for your response. After exploring setting of my mobile I found that I have chosen a keyboard language for which "Suggest emoticon" feature is not available. When enabled keyboard language as English -US, I can able to see "Suggest emoticon"
    feature on my messaging like sms, watsapp etc...

    And also I observed that we can switch on/off those emoticon feature by simply taping on the language in Settings --> Keyboard.

    How do I turn automatic emoticons OFF in Windows Mail?

    Thank you for the information. To turn-off your emoticons on Windows Mail application, we suggest following the steps below:

    • Launch your Mail application.
    • Press ALT + F+ O + M.
    • On the Compose tab, uncheck the Convert special keystrokes to emoticons.
    • Click Apply > OK.

    Suggest emoticons not working

    Hi,

    Recently I have updated my mobile with windows 8.1 developer preview.

    Initially I used to get emoticons suggestions for my typed words while messaging etc.

    from past few days those suggestions have stopped working, now while messaging no more emoticons suggestion in my device.

    Could you please address the issue.
