Windows 10: Emulex HBA FC Channel Controller loses it's driver and cannot be reinstalled after...

Before KB5053657, everything works fine. But after installlation, the device manager shows:

Connecting to a fiber channel HBA using windows 10

Hi all.. first of all, greeting from Chile,!!

Please excuse the noob nature of this question.

I work in a small VFX studio, and we have a Fiber Channel HBA storage system installed, which is not in use right now. However, i am attempting to connect to this storage array using a windows 10 system with a FC HBA card, and keep running into some problems.

I have connected my windows 10 workstation, using a ATTO 82EN and can confirm that the fiber connections are correctly connected to the switch. I just did this and haven't done any configuration at all. However, i am unable to mount the drives, and keep
getting multiple instances of RAW drives show up on my device manager!





I do not have any background on these kind of matters, and the vendor who installed this system doesn't exist anymore.

Please, if you have any information on how i should configure a FC HBA please send me in that direction. I have admin access to the storage array but again, i do not know how to get this to work.

Ran verifier due to frequent crashes. Windows 10 now immediately crashes on start up.

I don't know of any such devices relating to Brocade FC/FCoE HBA Stor Miniport, but I do notice a long list of WAN Miniport drivers listed under Network Drives in device manager. Potentially related?

LSI Corporation today introduced its latest MegaRAID 6 Gb/s SAS+SATA controllers and host bus adapters (HBAs) featuring the PCI Express 3.0 interface.

Seven new LSI MegaRAID controllers are offered with four or eight ports and provide a powerful combination of intelligent performance, enterprise RAID data protection and proven interoperability. Three new LSI HBA models provide state-of-the-art connectivity for servers and appliances in a variety of enterprise-level environments including corporate datacenters, the cloud and high-performance computing.

The MegaRAID controllers announced today increase performance and protection for business and mission-critical data stored on high-performance SAS hard drives, high-capacity SATA hard drives or application-accelerating solid state drives (SSDs). Each controller is powered by the LSI SAS 2208/2308 RAID-on-Chip using 6Gb/s SAS technology and includes dual 800MHz PowerPC Processor cores with 1GB cache memory.
