Windows 10: Enable Auto Dark/Light Mode on Windows 11

Hello, is there any way to enable an auto dark/light mode on windows 11 for example a dark mode from sunset to sunrise and light mode elsewhere without set dark or light mode manually every time in settings? I know that there is a third party app that can do this, but I was wondering if there is a native way to do it, if not it would be a nice feature to add in the next windows 11 update.

Night Light/Dark Mode Task Scheduler

What I'm trying to achieve is really quite simple.

I want to create 2 tasks:

1. When I turn on the night light, dark default app mode is enabled
2. When I turn off the night light, light default app mode is enabled

I don't really have any experience with creating tasks in Task Scheduler so I'd appreciate some pretty in-depth help

This was all caused by that new light theme in version 1903 of Windows 10, to revert everything to the settings prior to that update, here are the steps . ..

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Personalization - Colors

Set 'Choose your Color' to Custom

Set Windows Mode to Dark

Set App Mode to Light or Dark

Then that option to change the Taskbar color should be active . ..

You can also set App Mode to light or dark separately form Windows Mode and there is a new feature in 1903, where form each Apps settings, you can individually set an app to either dark or light mode . ..

How do you keep "lights on" in dark mode?

"Dark mode" refers to the Mail app's dark mode, common to Windows apps. Affects the color of the message list, menu bar, etc.

"Lights on" or "lights off" refers to the reading pane's background color, a feature recently added to Mail.

I'm asking if there's a way to set "lights on" to default, even if the Mail app is set to dark mode.
