Windows 10: Enable Num-Lock on-screen notification in Windows 11

Hi,I have a laptop, OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b1000 running Windows 11.How do I Enable Num-Lock on-screen notification in Windows 11? It is working in the OS that shipped with the notebook. I installed a new OS on a new partition. I want it to work with the new OS. How do I enable it? Thanks

Thank you for your reply, however I have not had any success.

I had num locked enabled then I followed the steps exactly... unchecked
Turn on fast startup (recommended) and saved the changes. I restarted the computer and num lock is still disabled on start up.

I have also tried another forum suggested method: log in screen press num lock key to enable and then restarting from log in screen. This also did not work. Is it something to do with windows 10??

Tried to enable num lock key on bootup and now I'm locked out

Leaving Fast Startup disabled is fine. Here is the tutorial here on Tenforums for the Num Lock key at sign-on.

Read thru them both, and make sure all the proper steps were taken. It should not lock you out of your laptop.
