    Password Reveal Button

On my desktop running Windows 10 Home I have the Password Reveal button which I find useful in checking if I have entered the correct password in the login screen. Windows 10 Home was a free upgrade of Windows 8.1 downloaded from MS.

However I also use a Laptop which also runs Windows 10 Home but it does not have the Password Reveal button which is inconvenient as I cannot check whether I have entered the correct password. In this case the download was from this link :

    Download Windows 10

Is it possible to download a Password Reveal button installer to rectify this problem.

Bug in Reveal Password Eye Button

    Hi

I was using input type="password" in one of my applications. I noticed that the reveal password eye button's behavior isn't consistent on Windows 10. The reveal button is when the field is empty and a password is entered but if you click anywhere on the
form and comeback to the field it isn't visible anymore. The only way to bring it back is to clear the field and enter a new value. Wondering if this is by design.

I also verified this behavior here:

  5. Password reveal button works on all apps, except the windows 10 login screen

    Hi Nick,

Take a look at this link:

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/66711-enabl...

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised
on the site before you decide to download and install it.

I know this is how to disable/enable, but I'm thinking we disable it, reboot. Make sure it's not working anywhere. Then, re-enable with GPO (or the reg file shown) and see if it enables it on the login screen.

    Let me know!
