Windows 10: Enable page flipping with comma/period in Pinyin IME

Hello Microsoft Pinyin developers

I noticed that after the update in March 2021, flipping page with comma/period is not supported.

Unless I check "Use previous version of Microsoft Pinyin" option in the IME settings, otherwise I have to use PgUp/PgDn.

I 'd like to tell that flipping page with comma/period is useful and PgUp/Dn is not convenient for users of specific keyboards like HHKB. Hope you can consider to bring this feature back, or create an option for it in the settings. Thank you.

No personalization Traditional Chinese Pinyin IME

Hi,

This is not very relevant to this particular problem, which occurs when the language pack and the IME is already installed and in use.

The problem is that when you use the “Microsoft Pinyin Input method" to type traditional rather than simplified Chinese characters, the personalisation options are all grayed out. As a result the IME will not remember your most commonly used characters,
which makes typing in Chinese extremely laborious. This problem does not occur when you set the same IME to "Simplified Chinese".

My questions are:

- Is it possible to turn personalisation on for Traditional Chinese? This is not straightforwardly possible in the settings.

- Or alternatively, is there an IME for using Hanyu Pinyin to type Traditional Chinese Characters which is equivalent to or better than the Microsoft Pinyin IME.

Windows Update causing a change to use of decimal characters (period and commas)

Hi,

I work in software tech support. I've had several European users recently experiencing troubles in our software due to decimals being expected as commas or periods or vice versa. Our software will display decimals as either comma or period, but won't accept
data input using either. The first report was on 28 September 2018.

Was there a recent update to localisation that would have affected these users? Is there a release note that lists all changes included in updates? I seem to only be able to find feature changes that affect user experience.
