  1. Enable S Mode

Hello everyone,we want to try using Windows 11 S in our company. We found the deployment lab on the Microsoft website but we don't really understand what it is asking us to do, if I may say... it's not well written at all. Does anyone have a guide we could follow to enable s mode in windows 11? We're making a usb key to try and boot windows 11 Home in s mode. We succedeed with Windows 10 following a video tutorial on youtube but I understand that the two things are very different from each other. If anyone could help, thank you very much.Chiara

    :)

  2. New FF - passwords

    Hi:

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode | Firefox Help

    • Please report back and let us know the outcome, as it will dictate the next steps.
    • Also: please tell us what AV/AM/firewall programs are you running on this system?

    Thanks,
    MM

    Can't Enable Developer Mode.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing issues in enabling Developer mode. I’ll certainly help you with the issue.

    However, please let us know:

    • Are you using Windows 10 Home or Pro?

As you have mentioned that you are using Windows 10 Home, I would like to inform that Group Policy editor is not available in Home edition of Windows.

However, let me share an article that might help you in enabling Developer mode using Registry Editor. I would suggest you to refer the section
Use group policies or registry keys to enable a device from the article

    Enable your device for development
    .

Note: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow
these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

    Follow the steps to take
    backup of registry
    .

Let us know how it goes.

How to enable developer mode in Windows 10

    Hi Roshan,

Thank you for posting in Community.

We are glad to provide the assistance required to help resolve the issue.

For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below to enable Developer Mode via Group Policy and check.

    1. Open Group Policy Editor and navigate to the following setting:

Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > App Package Deployment

    2. You will need to edit and Enable the following two policies

    • Allow all trusted apps to install
    • Allows development of Windows Store apps and installing them from an integrated development environment (IDE

    Hope this helps
