Windows 10: Enable sign in after sleep

I have a new computer and for some reason I cannot figure out how to make it lock when it goes to sleep. I know most people want to disable that feature, but I need my computer to lock when I step away from it for a while. My old computer did that by default but on this one when I go to Accounts>>Sign-in Options>>Additional settings, where it asks "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sing in again?" its on never and is completely greyed out. I cant change anything. Beneath that, it says that "Authentication is not required when this PC wakes from sleep." Ho

Getting out of sleep

• Does your device automatically returns to sleep after a short period of time?
• Have you made any significant changes prior to the issue?

We suggest that you check if the Allow wake timers setting is enabled. To check if it is enabled, follow the steps below:

• Click the Start button, then type power options.
• Click Power Options from the results.
• On the Power Options windows, click Change when the computer sleeps.
• Click Change advanced power settings.
• Expand the Sleep category.
• Expand Allow wake timers.
• Change the desired setting.

Sleep mode

Since this is a new computer, settings may be on the default configuration. One of the option to configure the authentication requirement when the device wakes from sleep is through
Settings under Accounts. To be guided on this, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• 
  On the Search box, type
  Sign-in options and press Enter.
  
• 
  Under Required sign-in, click the drop down arrow and choose your
  preferred setup.
  
• 
  Once done, close the Settings window and check if the issue persists.
