  1. Enable the system stereo sound as the source for recording

How do I enable the system stereo sound as the source for recording. when you wan to record the computer audio, I want to be able to select not only the external mic or the internal mic, but also be able to select the system stereo.

example when you do facebook live, you would like to select also the audio playing in the computer and not only the ones from the mic

    :)

  2. Trybird Win User

Please recommend a lite and useful recorder tool for recording system sound

You know, in Windows 7, I can record the system sound via enable Stereo Mix, just as follows:

Right-click on speaker icon of taskbar, then click Recording devices, then right-click on its window and then select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices", then right-click on Stereo Mix and then click on Enable.

(If the Sound Card's driver doesn't be installed properly, in Device Manager click on "Sound, video and game controller" and then right-click on "High Definition Audio Controller" and click on "Update Driver Software...", then click "Browse my computer for
    driver software"...)

And then run any sound recorder, such as run the Voice Recorder that built in the system, that's fine.

But in Windows 10, it fails at all, anyway I can not have done it.

Because after selected both of "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices", then on that window, no any Stereo Mix was appeared or shown to me...

This is exactly one of the reasons why Windows 10 is not more popular than Windows 7... yeah, Windows 10 vs. Windows 7, uers prefer Windows 7... -- Users are annoyed: why it can be used in Windows 7, but now was canceled by Microsoft in Windows 10?

Not just me being suffered by this...

    Please see:

Stereo Mix missing in Windows 10? Did they remove it?

    Windows 10 Stereo Mix

No Stereo Mix Voice Recorder in Windows 10 to record sound from PC

    ...

    and so on...

So, please recommend a cute tool for recording the system sound to me.

Enjoy for would be recommended any Windows Store apps.

If you would recommend some desktop apps to me, please try to meet the following requirements:

Must be able to record from the source of system sound, but not microphone or others.

With reliable quality and good recording results.

Can run perfectly fine on Windows 10.

It is better to be green and portable, namely installation is not required.

It is better to be free.

Size is as small as possible.

The source or link of its download is safe and trustworthy.

Thanks in advance for anyone who would be involved in this discussion.
