    Enable to exit safe mode without Bitlocker


    Hello everyone,I'm desperately in need for help because I think I've tried everything. This morning my laptop -Lenovo Yoga bought less than 1yr ago- got stuck in safe mode probably due to an update it didn't like.The Lenovo service cannot help saying it's related to Microsoft -which is impossible to contact on the phone-. Actually I'm not able to recover the Bitlocker that I don't remember having set up at some point. On top of that, my Microsoft account is now locked for one month the security code is linked to my former mobile phone actually so I can only access these emails on my phone

    Thank you for responding.

    I suggest you to try the below steps to exit from the Safe mode on Windows 10.

    Steps to place the computer in normal mode.

    • Press Windows + R keys to open
      Run command.
    • Type msconfig and press
      Enter.
    • In the System Configuration window, click on
      General tab.
    • Select Start-up selection as
      Normal startup, click on Apply
      and Ok.
    • Follow onscreen instructions.

    Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

    Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

    • Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
      keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
      Enter.
    • Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
    • Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

    Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

    Need to exit safe mode.

    specialist restarted my computer in safe mode to do a workaround to fix corruption caused during Windows update overnight. Files are not listed under Documents any more. Just apparently in TEMP folder. However, specialist has not done anything since
    restarting in safe mode 2 hours ago. How do I safely exit safe mode?
