Windows 10: Enable TPM....Toshiba Laptop 64 bit windows10 latest version

12/9Could anyone help with my preparation for the Windows 11 Download.I need to Enable TPM...on my Toshiba Satellite Laptop.It dosen't show "Security Processor in my windows settings ….Every other requirement looks fine.8G of RAM..750G HD...2G Processor64 bit system.Regards.Happy Holidays..MichaelWaterbury, Ct70 years young.. ;-

TPM support

I couldn't find "TPM" or "Trusted Platform Module" listed in any BIOS setting on 2 of my laptops. Got the mobo ID from system specs and did a bit of searching ... ah, there it is, not actually called that exactly, but same thing, and was disabled. Enabled ... booted up, ran tpm.msc. Bingo! Alive and well.

Your search engine will be your friend (one of mine even had a YouTube step-by-step how to access the BIOS, what to look for, etc).

Impact:

1. System drive (C:\) is no longer encrypted. I cannot open TPM management console.
2. Other drives are encrypted fine.

Computer details:

Acer Predator G9-791

BIOS: V1.12 (type: UEFI)

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 18362) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)

Please let me know how to fix this.
