  1. Enable unsupported display scaling scale presets on odd sized displays

Hi, my Zenbook Pro 14 Duo has an odd sized secondary display at 2880x864. It seems the logic in W11 for what scaling presets to allow is based on vertical resolution thats my best guess, since on this high DPI display it will only allow 100 or 125% setttings. So for the main screen an appropriate 200% is what it defaults to. The result is small elements on the secondary screen. This is extra problematic for touch based MS store apps, since they don't allow per app scaling overrides, and are reliant on proper scaling for 'finger appropriate sizing'. I'd love to have say 200 or 225% on the main

I know you can set a manual scaling factor, but this is across all displays, sadly. For now I am running it at 175 for both displays a a compromise.

A registry setting or whatever to enable different factors for the secondary display would be very welcome. Or perhaps this could be marked as a feature request?

    Thanks guys.

  3. Enable unsupported display scaling scale presets on odd sized displays

    Hi , Mart

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

Unfortunately, before the old version of Windows 10 1511, you had a selection bar to set the resolution scaling, of course it had a limit, if I'm not mistaken, up to 250%, so that was removed, and the checkbox Predefined scaling has been added, so far there is no way to put custom scaling on each monitor generally it is for everyone.

Provisional solution that people on the internet generally make a customized resolution that works on the scale they want in this situation, it would be a provisional resolution.

Unfortunately this function was not applied in Windows 10 or 11 actual.

    Hope this helps.

    Display Scaling values

    Hi TerryFarmer2.

My name is Daniela, I am an independent consultant and I will be happy to help you today.

I hope you are very well.

To change the screen scale size with the recommended settings, follow these steps:

    Open Settings.

    Click on System.

    Then click on Display.

In the "Scale and layout" section, use the drop-down menu and select the scale setting that suits your needs.

Once you complete the steps, you do not need to log out and log back in, but it is recommended to restart your computer to ensure that the new settings are applied correctly to the desktop and applications.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Best regards.

    Daniela.
