    Intel VT-x Enable?


    I am unable to find anything with Intel Virtual Technology anywhere in the BIOS. I guess the only step is to update my BIOS, but I heard that is very risky. Is there any other way to enable Intel VT-x?

    I have access to my graphics settings but I don't know if that will help.

    How To Enable VT In HP

    I've been searching on how to enable vt on my PC. My PC said vt is supported, but disabled, and I've been trying to enable it.

    I've been running on Windows 10 Home edition, and it's on a HP Touchsmart All In One PC.

    I've tried many things, but no such luck. I've even tried pressing F10, but it's asking to enter CURRENT password, but I don't know what that password is.

    Can anyone help me out on how to enable VT on my PC, preferably without having to reboot?

    Hey Ethan B,

    I'm running Win 10 Pro on my HP EliteBook 8570P and trying to get into my BIOS to enable VT-X however it keeps saying I am putting in the wrong password. Three wrong attempts and it restarts...However I am told it is the same password as my Microsoft administrator
    password, but it obviously is not. Is there anything else I can do before I request a smc.bin ….whatever that is?
