Windows 10: Enable xbox gamebar keeps turning off on Windows 11

My xbox game bar keeps turning itself off, I have tried every single fix from all sorts of videos online. This website -https://appuals.com/xbox-gamebar-not-starting/And all changes in the Reg editor,No matter what I do it constantly keeps turning itself off now and I have been looking for a fix for weeks, I have even tried re-installing it and repairing it through settings and microsoft store and it WONT FIX.

I did as you suggested and unfortunately, this has not resolved the problem.

I went into settings and installed all updates including a reset of my computer. This did not resolve my issue.

I have updated all apps found in the Microsoft store. No luck there.

I have reset all Xbox related applications. This removed my ability to see the "Enable xbox gamebar" option.

Is there any other advice you might have?

I am trying to record my screen for a project but am unable to use xbox gamebar. Every time I enable the options in my settings and leave the menu in settings the next time I check the option has disabled itself again. I am completely unable to capture anything.

Use Registry Editor You can modify the GameDVR value in Registry Editor to make sure the Xbox Game Bar component remains enabled to fix your issue. Follow the guide below:

Step 1: Launch Windows Registry Editor by typing regedit to the search box and clicking the result.

Step 2: Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR.

Step 3: If you cannot find the AppCaptureEnabled key, right-click on the space and choose New > DROWD (32-bit) Value. Name it as AppCaptureEnabled. Then, double-click on it to set the value data to 1.
