Windows 10: Enabling Virtual Machine feature causes blank screen on restart

I'm trying to update to WSL2. I already am using WSL with ubuntu 20.04.

Following the steps given here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-win10


On step 3, after I Enable Virtual Machine feature and restart my system, it gets stuck at a blank screen after the spinning dots.

I had to boot into safe mode and disable this feature, after which I could boot up windows fine, without any issues.


System specs:

Version: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19042.630]

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650

RAM: 8GB


Virtualization is supported on this system, I enabled SVM mode in BIOS

Enabling Virtual Machine Platform feature causes screen to flicker post boot.

Hi, I tried to get help on this issue
here, but at that time I did not know what was causing the screen to flicker. Currently enabling Virtual Machine Platform causes my screen to flicker post-boot. The screen does not flicker when I disable the Virtual Machine Platform feature.

I understand that you are seeing the option Virtualization enabled in firmware as No even after enabling the Virtualization technology from BIOS.



To identify the main root cause of the issue, please respond to the questions below.

1. What is the version of BIOS installed on the PC?
   
2. What is the make and model of the PC?
   
3. Do you see the option to enable Hyper-V in
   Turn Windows Features on/off section? (Press Windows +
   R and type appwiz.cpl > Turn Windows Features on/off >
   Hyper-V)

Windows features wouldn't show on windows 10, appears blank!

I installed windows 10 on my pc, I am trying to enable my .net framework and I understand that the way to go about this is through windows features, however my windows features box appears blank, I can't find the checkbox with all the options, I have followed the steps listed on various websites (run services.msc, enable modules installer if not already enabled etc,) still nothing! I would really appreciate if someone could assist me here. Thanks
