Asha 302 Software issue told by nokia care Wifi is not working

It's about encriptions protocols and that mean some settings to be made on router.

Long-short some details:

- using WiFi connection without encription works fine.



IF you choose WEP protocols for encripted connection, the phone can connect to Wireless but cannot access web, so:



Log in to router (I have a HG 655 b so I'll tell you what I've done, to have "a picture" on necessary steps).

Look for Basic tab, then Wlan.

Here, SSID index must remain as it is "SSID1";

- SSID name must be changed to "Provider"-WPA-"Indentifier" HINT!
WPA is encription protocol !!!

- On Security choose WPA2-PSK

- On WPA pre-shared key define a password

Press Submit to update changes, then log off from router interface.



Take you phone, go to Menu - Settings - Connectivity.

Internet connection I have been set it as "Ask first"

Then, on WLAN submenu, select Available WLAN. "Provider"-WPA-"Indentifier" should be listed.

Select it, you'll be asked for password, type password defined on router then OK.

Windows 10 latest update in August gives an issue with Iomega Encription external hard drive as I cannot enter the password/code. Before the authentication window poped out and not now

Why the authentication window to enter the password code in Iomega Encription 3.1 hard drive is not poping anymore after Window 10 update ?
