Windows 10: Encryption enabled. Now what?

My original Windows 11 laptop setup had encryption enabled, but when a tech turned off encryption and then replaced the mother board due to a microphone issue, encryption went missing. Manufacturer inexplicably replaced the hard drive as the answer of course not, and I just finally got it back viewable and on again on my own. But now what? I'd like to find my recovery key to ensure I can get back in if there's ever trouble. There's no recovery key that I can find for safekeeping. In my Microsoft account logged in online, I can find a recovery "code" but that's more for logging in and not ab

encryption is greyed

i have a problem the encryption of folder is greyed out

• I tried the enabling of efs by setting it to automatic
• i tried enable encryption by command line.
• i tried enable encryption by registry editor.

i use a account as an administrator

• using windows 10 home single language

kindly help

Enable Encryption

Along the Browser bar I keep getting the message "Enable Encryption" as someone may be able to access my passwords and sensitive information. How do I enable encryption?
