Windows 10: "End" key not working since upgrade

I've been facing this problem on windows 10 pro since the last windows upgrade.End key doesn't have any sense, but any other hot keys including Home button work as well.- All drivers are up to date.- Tested in several applications and got the same result.- I have a virtual windows on VM machine and there is no problem with End key! so I don't think it is a hardware issue.Thanks for helping in advance

Free upgrade still working using old keys


Windows 10 free upgrade offer still works. I tested today. First I installed and activated Windows 8.1 (I used an old Windows 8 key that had never been used) and after this I upgrade to Windows 10.

Note that Windows 10 upgrade installation does not accept Windows 7/8.x product key, so you need to select the option I'm reinstalling Windows 10 on this PC (see screenshot below).





You can also clean install Windows 10 and activate it directly with your unused Windows 7/8.x product key.

Still not working


Hi Brink,

I am a Systems Engineer (entry-Level) and I am having this issue. I have followed all the steps that were listed, even created a new user account. This is for a customer. When I followed the steps, before creating a new user, i kept changing the path to point to the correct place. The second time, and following, I ended up getting the 2 SID's, one with the .bak. Followed the steps to delete the regular one and rename the .bak. restarted and still signs in as a temp profile. So I ended up cfreating a new user and still get the same Temp profile issue. Could you suggest something? Thanks.

 

Number key 8, end key and shift on right not working

Hi all, hoping someone can help although it says this device is working properly, on the right side keys my number 8, the End key and the enter key have stopped working. Any suggestions??
