Windows 10: Endless Automatic Repair loop. Created media 10 bootable USB using media creation tool....

How do I get computer to work again after windows update triggered endless automatic repair loop. Creating bootable USB using media creation tool did not work.

Download Windows 10 and check if you are able to create the bootable media.

Windows 10 on an automatic repair loop on start up

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



We understand your concern, as the PC stuck on the automatic repair loop. I suggest you to download and create the installation media for Windows 10 ISO file on an USB. Refer this link and download the media creation tool:

http://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10



Once you create the bootable USB media, please perform the below steps.

1. Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
   
2. In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard
   or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
   
3. Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
   
4. Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Startup Repair’ and select the operating system.

Does the Media Creation Tool create a bootable USB or DVD. If not how can I make it bootable?
