    Hello, I recently rebooted to allow Windows 11 to upgrade to the latest version . It's December 2024.After a few reboot cycles, Windows assured me that everything was coming along nicely. I was playing with my phone patiently waiting for the windows updates to finish. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck in a reboot cycle. I never see the windows logo. The BIOS splash page comes up, telling me i can hit Del or F2 to go into BIOS settings. If I wait and do nothing, Windows never comes up. The screen stays black. I might get a one pixel high line across the bottom or middle of the screen, and then

    • Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
    • Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
    • What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

    I have a few questions about windows 11...

    1. How many GB it is? when my pc suggested the upgrade yesterday, it said it's about 4GB just want to be sure.
    2. I'm using a windows 10 pro so if I upgrade, will it upgrade to a windows 11 pro?

    No more touchpad for my laptop since upgrading to Windows 10

    Hi Derek,

    I would suggest the following steps :

    • Press Windows + X
    • Click on Device Manager
    • Right click on TouchPad drivers in the list.
    • Choose Upgrade Drivers
    • Reboot computer

    Check if this helped to fix the issue.
