    Endpoint Firewall Whitelisting

Hello, I am working implementing Endpoint Firewall but I am facing some issues when applying the firewall rules to my workstations.Target: Block outgoing traffic on ports 80 and 443 from the workstationsIssue: When the block rules are applied, control of the worksations is lost as these ports control the Microsoft updates as well.Question: Is there a way to create a whitelist on the firewall, in order to allow outbound traffic from the required Microsoft domains if I want to block other outbound traffic from ports 80 and 443?Thank you in advance!“***Post moved by the moderator to the appropri

How can I get the Hardware Device ID of an existing Windows 10 Endpoint for Whitelisting purposes? Thanks

Is there a PowerShell command, tool or other possibilities to get the Unique Hardware Device ID of an existing Windows 10 Endpoint?

Endpoints need to be whitelisted by the Hardware Device ID.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Allowing Updates Through Whitelisted Firewall

I am trying to allow Windows Update through a whitelisted system. I have allowed svchost.exe TCP 80 and 443 for BITS, Windows Update and the Update Orchestrator... what am I missing here? I even have a list of trusted site added.

    Good Antivirus + Firewall

I would never put anything Norton on my computer.

Nod32 is arguably the best antivirus. AVG is likely not as good, but it's free and at least pretty good.

Firewalls, I'd put Comodo and whatever "Tiny Personal Firewall" is named nowadays on your short list. I think Kerio might have sold it now and it's named something else. Otherwise, just put Comodo on your short list. I think the current version's ease of use has taken a step backwards, seems a bit counter-intuitive when trying to do certain things with it, but overall it does a good job and the price is right.
