Windows 10: English Input Method Keeps Disappearing Randomly

Hi there, I'm experiencing a recurring issue with language input methods on my Windows 11. I have three language inputs installed: English, Chinese and Japanese. English input and Japanese are the default Microsoft inputs, and Chinese is external input. Over the past few months, the English input method frequently disappears without reason. In other words, though the English language pack is still installed, the English input method is missing from the language bar. English US keeps appearing as an input language occasionally.

I understand the inconvenience caused.

From the issue description, it looks like you have English Input downloaded and installed in the system. I suggest you to follow the steps below to remove the English input language and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type control and press enter to open the control panel.

3. Type language in the control panel search box and open it.

4. If English is listed, double click on it and click "remove" under "input method".

Useless Input Method Keep Appears

I usually use two input methods. However, English (AUS) w/ US layout and English (US) w/ Us layout keep appears even if without seeing these two 'language'in the language setting. I tried with set these language and then delete them so they can disappear,
but at the next time i boot up my PC, all those input methods appears again. I only need those two input method and I don't need other input methods to disturb my work because it just makes less confusions.

Open Control Panel - Language

On the right of your current language setup, click Options

Is UK English listed in the list of input methods

If so, click Delete . . .
