Windows 10: English Keyboard characters not displaying properly when Korean language is installed

Hi,


I'm having trouble with English being displayed in the incorrect font whilst I have the Korean Langauge pack installed in Windows 10. See the screenshot below;

. This font should be as follows;


Also in programs like regedit and my LaTeX editor, some English keyboard characters are being displayed in the Korean keyboard, see;

. Here the character "\" should be there instead of the Korean character.

Change Display language to Korean

I am unable to see Korean characters in Windows Explorer. I have Windows 10 with the Korean language pack installed.

Do I need to get the Korea version of Windows to properly display file names in Korea characters?

 

how can i change window ten display language from korean to English.

After upgrading to window 10 my laptop display language changed from English to Korean. Now I don't understand my laptop everything is display in Korean language. Pls help with picture or video showing step I will take.

this is a huge step backwards in QoL

my windows 7 was installed from a korean installer ( i did not want this) but i changed it to english later and never

had a problem to toggle input language with my keyboard buttons. now i have to use the mouse (even if its only

1 per reboot). it is very annoying.

please reconsider to make it possible to have english as the primary language but not the primary input so we can toggle

with our keyboards again
