Windows 10: Enhanced Pointer Precision Not Working Properly

Hi there,I haven't used enhanced pointer precision for a while now, since it is a bad setting for shooter games. But I recently started playing RTS games and I tried to turn it on again. Now for some reason when it is on, it doesn't work properly like I remember. When I move my mouse slowly it is pretty fast and when I move it faster and faster it gets slowed down and capped to a certain speed. I have no idea why this is happening. I use Windows 11 with 1600 dpi and 1000 Hz on my gaming mice.

Enhance Pointer Precision keeps getting Cleared

"Enhance pointer precision" keeps getting un-checked. What background apps might be clearing this setting? This gets cleared within a couple of hours of setting it. I don't even have to re-boot for it to be cleared.

[To get to Enhance pointer precision, Go to "Mouse Settings" > "Additional mouse settings" > (Mouse Properties) > "Pointer Options" > "Motion" > "Enhance pointer precision" check! Apply & Okay.]

 

Unable to save "Enhance pointer precision" setting with the Wacom tablet.

I need this setting ("Enhance pointer precision") to be always on. But it disappears from time to time. This happens while I'm using Wacom tablet. Without it this setting is ok.

I check the 'enhance pointer precision' box in the mouse properties window, and it works fine. I close the window, and the accuracy is rubbish again. Next I open mouse properties and enhance pointer precision is unchecked!! So right now my tablet is useless.
How can I save this point forever??

I saw the same question in 2013 year and problem isn't solve.

2) Go over Windows 11 with this Performance Checklist to try to find and fix problems:

If you know when this started do Step 1 for System Restore to before that point.

Do Step 2 for all the driver manipulations on mouse driver including Update Driver > Automatically, Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick to try all previous drivers queued there, Unisntall Driver restart PC using keyboard to reinstall driver. Then update all other drivers, especially chipset and BIOS.

Do Step 3 to expedite all WIndows Updates from Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates . Install all including Optional, watch for prompt for Restart, then go back to check again until no more are offered.

Then Step 5 to establish a Clean Boot, and the rest of the steps to check for infection, test for account corruption, clean up any infection and find and fix any broken System files.
