Windows 10: Enigmatic Windows Explorer Memory Issue

Hello, I could use some advice. I just set up a new HP Z2 G5 workstation and it's having what seems to be a memory leak issue with both Windows Explorer and Windows Desktop Manager. Of course the problem is sporadic. When it does happen the computer experiences the following: - Windows Desktop Manager AND/OR Windows Explorer memory usage increases to around 5GB- Microsoft Outlook presents a message when opening email saying "Sorry, We are having trouble opening this item. This could be temporary..."- Adobe Acrobat DC Reader cannot open more than one PDF at a time a

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue
