Windows 10: Enter button to send cursor to next line rather than sending message in Ph Link of Link to...

I would like the cursor to go to the next line when using the Phone Link in Link to Windows, rather than sending the message. Is there a setting, that I cannot find, to adjust to do this? much thanks

Enter key moves cursor to next line instead of sending message.

Pressing the enter key moves the cursor to the next line instead of sending message in Whatsapp and Chatgpt. This issue was not present in the discord application.

This happens on my external keyboard, the laptop's inbuilt keyboard as well and the on-screen keyboard available in Windows 11.

 

Can't send multiline texts in windows phone link app

I frequently send multiline text messages from my phone. I would like to do the same with the windows phone link app. However, after entering the first line and hitting the return key, the message is immediately sent. I can find no way to do multiline texts. This makes the phone link almost useless to me for texting. Is there a setting to change this behavior so that I will have to click on the "send" button to send the text?

 

Sending Links While On-line never "Sends"

I have Edge/Windows 10 and have had a problem with Outlook from day 1. Thus, I use Thunderbird as my Mail. I have no problem originating an Email with Outlook, but if I try to send a link while on line, it never goes through. Later on, I usually get an
error message showing that the mail did not go through, and also it always asking me about my credentials. I have no idea what that means. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
