Windows 10: entered product key but did not receive code to verify id

Discus and support entered product key but did not receive code to verify id in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I entered the product key for one off microsoft office but did not receive a code to verify my identity...     Hi everyone,

    I just finished build my own pc and and everything seemed to work fine. Until starting windows 10.

    I ordered Windows 10 Home through Amazon but I did not receive any CD nor USB, just the product key and upon entering it, it says:

    'We couldn't verify the product key. Please check your installation media'.

    As I tried to browse through the internet for some solutions, my case seems to be unique as I just have the code but no drive from Amazon.

    Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Russell,

    We appreciate the information you've provided regarding the product ID. To resolve your concern, we suggest that you do the following steps:

    • Click on Start and type: Command Prompt.
    • Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
    • Type: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey.
    • Press Enter. That should give you the product key to type in the activation.

    Hello,





    There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:



    • Press Windows key + X
    • Click Command Prompt (admin)
    • Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
    • Then hit Enter
    The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.

    Give us an update on what happens.
