Windows 10: Entering an Event in My Outlook Calendar

Out of the blue, I went to put an event in my Outlook calendar on my I phone and next thing I know, I am getting email from people asking me about the entry. Somehow, a number of emails are attached to my event entry as if I had invited them to share the event when I did no such thing. It is not apparent how these emails can be deleted. Help.

iPhone calendar events not appearing in Outlook calendar

Hello, I am am using the Outlook app through a web browser and the iPhone 5s Calendar app.

On my iPhone 5s calendar app, I can see my Outlook calendar events immediately after adding a new event in the Outlook calendar through a web browser.

Unfortunately I don't know how to get my iPhone calendar events to appear in my Outlook calendar. I can't use a locally installed iTunes to try and sync to a locally installed Outlook at a different workstation PC each time an event is added on my iPhone.

Can anyone suggest what I could do to get my iPhone Calendar events to appear in my Outlook Calendar? Many thanks.

 

Live calendar event not visible in Outlook 2010 or WP8 calendar?

Thanks for the suggestion. I finally did manage to get this meeting to play along, but resending the meeting wasn't enough alone. What I had to do was:

• Delete all old instances and meeting requests pertaining to the event in question
• Obtain the original meeting request from the organizer
• Do NOT use Outlook 2010 to accept the request
• Instead, use my WP8 device to accept the request

This way the event was inserted correctly into Live calendar and synced to my phone & Outlook 2010. I also tried accepting the meeting request via Outlook 2010, but that caused weird problems with only some of the recurring events appearing and the time
was off by 1 hour.

 

Accidentally entered an event in Outlook calendar as a US Holiday and now cannot delete it

Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately, a soft reset did not work. The problem has to do with the fact that I inadvertently entered this event as a "US Holidays - Outlook". So, there is no little pencil to click on to edit or delete it like there
is for a regular calendar event. When I delete all US holidays, it does go away, but I don't want to delete all US holidays, just this incorrect entry. In fact, I just noticed another entry I entered as a "US holiday" instead of "Calendar - Outlook" and
it also does not allow me to edit it. I guess I'll need to be more diligent when I enter events to not enter them as US Holidays. I assume I'll be stuck with this event appearing every year as a holiday. I'll see what happens after the day comes and goes.
