Windows 10: Entries become dull when I drag them to a different day

    Entries become dull when I drag them to a different day


    When I create an all-day task and later want to drag it to a different day on the Calendar app on a PC, whatever color it is in becomes dull or opaque. What is this supposed to indicate and how do I stop it from happening other than opening the task and editing the date on there which just takes longer?

    Dull screen needs help

    Bulldogxx I tried both ways suggested the article that offered step by step and neither system solved the dull colors, dull screen problem. All they did was rearrange my desktop. Any other suggestions?

    Sorry about the sassy rejoinder to your sassy remark, I think they are both funny now that I am old and don't take myself seriously.

    Drag and Drop

    Hi Charles,

    the steps you suggested didn't work for me but, when pressing the escape key it somehow expanded the drive and by using drag and drop to the single file in the list worked.

    In the past I could drag and drop multiple folders onto the drive on the network computer(s). Doing it on individual folders will take far too long and time consuming and is not an option.

    Microsoft should be able to identify what is blocking it and issue a fix.

    My machine is multi boot so tomorrow I will try with Windows 7.

    Dull Brightness

    I installed the May 2020 update but after that i am facing a brightness issue i.e the screen appears to be dull in my laptop. Can anyone suggest methods to fix this issue.
