Windows 10: Enveoriment sound effects dont work on Youtube 1809

Hi, any idea why sound effect does not work in Win10 professional 1809, the effect I'm trying to use "Envoriment: Arena" from control panel>sound settings>playback>Enchements, its working locally on system but not on YouTube videos. I already did run sound troubleshooting which is absolutely useless,


I also noticed there is sudden sound quality increase on everything, especially in games, is that normal? Not that I'm complain,


Need help, sound quality thing started right after I upgraded to 1809, and sound effect problem wasnt on my computer when I was in 1803,

Minimize sound effect not working

It would be grateful if you can reply to this question in order to assist you further:

• Did you installed any Windows Theme?
• Did you make changes to audio wav files for default sound scheme?
• Did you try assigning different wav audio to minimize?

Meanwhile we suggest you to go Control Panel > Classic items view > Sound > sounds Tab > Sound Schemes > revert to default and check if it helps.

Minimize sound effect not working

I upgraded to Windows 10 last week and I have a weird problem. The sound effect when I minimize a window is not working. All the other sound effects work fine. I am using the exact same .wav file for both maximize and minimize and although maximize
works fine, minimize does not. It's almost as if Windows is not telling the sound player that a window had been minimized. Any suggestions? Thanks!
