    Envy x360 fingerprint scanner not working


    Hi there! I have a HP Envy x360 2020 model and ever since I installed the Windows 11 update the fingerprint scanner has not been working. in fact, none of the Windows Hello sign in options have been working, not even the PIN. The model number is HP ENVY x360 Convertible 13-ar0xxx. I have uninstalled the fingerprint scanner driver so it is not on my laptop anymore. If anyone has a fix to this problem, please tell me how to fix it.

    Fingerprint scanner will not work

    Hi my name is Camila, I have an HP ENVY x360 Convertable PC and my fingerprint scanner will not work as well as Hello face. I have tried resetting my computer. I have tried the trouble shoot to see if that would work but the fingerprint scanner will not
    show up on my computer at all. When I'm on settings and click on sign-in options where the windows hello fingerprint is it says [ this option is currently unavailable... and then it says (we couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello
    Fingerprint.)] The option to click the bottons "Add another" and "Remove" , will not work... does not offer me the option to click.

    Can you help me with this problem,

    No luck troubleshooting why my fingerprint scanner stopped working

    Hello,

    Within the last week or two my fingerprint scanner suddenly stopped working after previously working with no problem for months. Windows "get help" walked me through many steps to troubleshoot the issue but nothing worked. The last thing it had me try was
    to uninstall the scanner altogether and download the most recent driver package for my device. However, I'm having trouble finding which package I'm supposed to download. My device is an HP Envy x360.

    Envy x360 fingerprint scanner not working

    HP ENVY FINGER PRINT SCANNER NOT WORKING

    After a recent update, my fingerprint scanner does not work on my HP ENVY x360 running Windows 10. I have done all of the recommendation, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. Made sure I had all the recent updates, yet Windows Hello Fingerprint still
    stats that this option is currently unavailable, something went wrong. Try again later.

    Any ideas/advice? It is becoming very annoying.
