Windows 10: epic launcher isnt working because of windows 10

I got my pc this week and tried downloading fortnite I have downloaded the launcher b I open it it but nothing matters many people have been trying to fix it please do something I have tried running the troubleshooter but it doesn't help

Epic launcher is not running

I am having a problem running the epic launcher on my pc it is installing but after the updates are installed it vanishes and when i try to open it it won't open. But when I tried it on the next laptop it works just fine.
