    Did our Epson printer get hacked?

    Wow. I searched on a few of those keywords and saw some things relevant to HP printers but not Epson. Really interested to see what you find out. I've got an Epson workforce printer myself.

    What version of Windows do you have?

    Has the printer ever been successfully installed?

    Are you using the CD that came with the printer or a file that you downloaded?

    If you are using a file that you downloaded, what is the name of the file and what is the address of the web site from which you got it?

    Did you follow the installation directions here (particularly Step 1 under "Install Software"):

    https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd5/cpd52723.pdf     ?

    Are you trying to use the printer connected wirelessly or by USB?

    Please list all devices in the "Printers and Faxes" section of "Devices and Printers" and note if any show a warning icon.
