Windows 10: Epson FF-680W vs Windows 11

I just purchased a new Epson FF-680W Scanner 6/25/25. I have Windows 11. The program freezes when I try to use the software to scan photos. HELP!!!! I have tried all the suggestions I can find!This is showing in my task bar Epson Event Manager but it doesn't do anything???

I purchased an Epson FF-680W scanner a "few years ago". Recently I needed to upgrade my computer and it came with Windows 11 installed. My Epson scanner will not work or even be recognized. What can be done? The scanner cost about as much as my computer.
