    Epson printer dialog -options severely curtailed - since recent windows update?


    I no longer can get my Epson XP-760 printer to work as it should because the usual Epson printer properties dialog has been replaced with something with barely any other options.


    For example, I can only print from the main tray and cannot opt for the paper feed - which means I cannot print on photo quality paper.

    For example, I cannot view ink levels.


    I have the most recent Epson drivers installed and Windows 10 build 19042.906

    Mmmm, only thing else I can think off is trying Windows Update, otherwise I too am clueless, LOL. I just had a look on the Epson site and they didn't even list a driver for mine under W7, but it worked in W7 when I tried it, even had the epson control panel. Well, until there was a sickening sound of broken plastic and it went west, but thats another story, LOL.

    Can you test the printer on another PC by any chance?

    Did our Epson printer get hacked?

    Wow. I searched on a few of those keywords and saw some things relevant to HP printers but not Epson. Really interested to see what you find out. I've got an Epson workforce printer myself.

    Sorry, not following you.

    I clicked on the little up arrow and right click the printer icon.

    What am I looking for?

    After the forced MS update, my epson printer dialog box was different. No more "Print current page" for instance.

    It is now so basic and does not show the print options any longer. Did the firmware change? Did the driver change? How do I get back to what I liked?
