Windows 10: Epson V600 drivers won't intall properly on Windows 11

I have a new MS Surface laptop and cannot get the drivers to install properly. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with Epson and still no resolution. They told me that it must be a Windows 11 security setting. However, the software runs perfectly fine on my old Surface laptop with W11. Anyone have a solution? I have seen older posts about this so apparently it's not just me!

I found the updated driver for my Epson Perfection V600 Photo at:

It worked for me. Hopefully, it will work for you as well.

Please be inform that Epson V600 scanner might be compatible with the Windows 10. The Epson V600 scanner manufacturer have released drivers till the Windows 8.1. I Suggest you to download and install the Windows 8.1 drivers in the compatibility mode and
check if it works. Follow the below steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

a. Right click the driver installation file and select
Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.

b. Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for:
box.

c. Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
OK.

d. Try installing the driver and check.

V600 Epson scanner

As LaCrumb had mentioned, make sure you have Windows Fax and Scan enabled and if you installed the Epson drivers and utilities make sure your scanner is online and use the utility from Espon to scan.

For good practice also uninstall all Espon drivers and Epson software, then reinstall from

Espon Site
